Ramstein AB, Germany – On Thursday, 29 August, the 86th Force Support Squadron celebrated the last night of Steak Night at Woodlawn Grill with a Hole-in-One Challenge. Customers who enjoyed their dinner had a chance of a grand prize of $500 cash but after over 100 swings on Hole 10, no one was able to land the 138 yard shot. Fortunately, one lucky golfer landed a ball only 6 feet from the hole which earned him $100 cash.
The$500 grand prize was not the only prize that customers had the opportunity to win, but a 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman. The 86th Force Support Squadron debuted the new giveaway at the 2019 Freedom Fest on July 4th and started collecting entries throughout August. Members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community can enter at select events for the new ride or by participating in the monthly Facebook Campaigns. Since the Hole-in-One Challenge was one of the first events to take entries, there will still be plenty of opportunities to get your entries before the lucky winner is revealed in March 2020.
