Ramstein AB, Germany – On Friday, 15 November, the world-renowned Harlem Globetrotters brought 2 amazing performances at the Kaiserslautern High School for over 1,000 members of our community. It was a night full of flips, tricks, and pure basketball magic! There is nothing quite like a Harlem Globetrotters show because there is honestly not one dull second which can probably be attributed to the fact that the team has been together for quite some time- 103 years to be exact!

The Harlem Globetrotters entertain millions of fans around the world with more than 400 live events each year. Each game showcases some of the most talented athletes with more fan interactions than any other team. Each game has about 10 members of the audience join in the fun, which when you think about it is quite a few people for a 60-minute game! Not only has the team performed for the KMC on multiple occasions throughout the years, but for Popes, kings, queens, and presidents from around the globe.

Speaking of the globe – the crowd couldn’t get enough of the Harlem Globetrotters mascot, Globie and his big brother and internet sensation, Big G! The two had some incredible basketball skills and dance moves! They were both quite the jokers as well, Globie even lost his title of “Musical Chairs World Champion!”

We hope to host the Harlem Globetrotters again in the future but in the meantime, feel free to follow the link below to check out the awesome photos from last Friday night because we all know – reading a blog post about the incredible team just can’t do them justice!
