May is National Mental Health Awareness AND June is National Safety Month!
Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States since 1949! Let’s “Break the Stigma” to bring awareness, support, and education!
National Safety Month is observed in June and is an opportunity to make a difference in your home, work, and community. Especially during these “present” times -identifying risks around the home or improving safety standards at home and in your community protects everyone!
The Exceptional Family Member Program-Family Support (EFMP-FS) team from the Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) have partnered up with Military One Source and the Ramstein Safety & Family Advocacy Programs
to distribute “Mental Health & Safety” bags to our EFMP families.
These bags will contain an accumulation of “supportive items” for families to utilize which will enhance resiliency and safety awareness (Chill Drills, Water Bottles, and more).
100 FREE bags available! First come first served- until the 100 bags are gone.
This “Distribution” event is open to EFMP enrolled (DoD ID cardholders & their sponsors).
We ask that only one person per family –one bag per family available.
