Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my children learn during the 8 class session?
Every child learns at a different pace. We give each child plenty of time during class to improve his or her skills. We recommend that families become members and utilize the facility for practice. Swimming can be a great family experience.
Why is my child repeating the same level?
Children may repeat a level multiple times before progressing to the next level. Have patience with your child’s progress and try not to compare one child with another—each child will learn and improve at his or her own pace. If you feel like your child needs one on one instruction to improve, you can consider private lessons.
Why do children sometimes sit at the pool edge between their turns?
Not only is this a safety precaution, but it also teaches children the understanding of taking turns in the water.
What should I do if my child is crying?

It is not unusual for children to become overwhelmed with lesson experience. Some children become upset upon initial separation from parents. Our instructors are trained to maintain a fun and safe environment. The best thing you can do is let our caring instructors establish a relationship with your child by not interfering when your child is upset.
