AIR FORCE AID SOCIETY

AFAS is the official charity of the U.S. Air Force. It promotes the Air Force mission by helping “to relieve the distress of Air Force members and their families and assisting them to finance their education”. AFAS can provide emergency assistance to help with short-term financial difficulties. In addition, AFAS offers a multitude of special programs for Air Force members and families. For more information or to request assistance, please contact the A&FRC.

BUNDLES FOR BABIES

The class offers you a finance piece that focuses on budgeting for your new baby from conception to college years and a chance to find out what support programs are available on-base and in the community.

The voucher is available for spouses of active duty air force members deployed for more than 30 days, spouses of active duty Air force members assigned to a remote tour, and first-term Airman.  To receive your voucher, you may visit the A&FRC with a copy of your spouse’s orders.

SPOUSE ORIENTATION PROGRAM (HEART LINK)

The Heart Link Program is an orientation offered on a quarterly basis to acquaint new Air Force Spouses with the Air Force way of life. This program strengthens military families and enhances mission readiness. Appreciating that spouses play an important role in re-enlistment decisions, therefore impacting retention, a major program goal is to help spouses, especially those with the Air Force five years or less, acclimate to the Air Force/military environment.  All spouses – new to the Air Force family or new to Ramstein are welcome to attend.
