ABOUT US

Air Force Families Forever (AFFF) is a long-term survivor program established to provide support to family members of deceased Regular Air Force (AF), U.S. Space Force (USSF) Guardians and Air Reserve Component (ARC) Airmen and who died in an Active, Inactive Duty for Training (IDT), or Annual Training (AT) status and whose relationship was established prior to the Airman/Guardian death. This includes RegAF, Guard, and reserve Airman/Guardians.

To link families of fallen Airmen and Guardians to their Air and Space Force Family promoting Survivor Resilience, thereby fostering well-being and connectedness.

Bereavement Resources

Military One Source – Provides face-to-face counseling, telephone consultation, online consultation, and financial consultation. Indefinite support for benefits-entitled dependents. 

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) – Established in 1994 for military survivors. Offers 24/7 information line, peer mentoring, publishes quarterly newsletters, hosts online community survivors (chat rooms, message boards, and peer groups discussion sites), military survivors seminars for adults and Good Grief Camps for children. Any relationship to deceased welcome.
