Incentive Program

Eligibility
Open to all active duty military, DoD civilians, retirees, and dependents 18 years of age and older.
Goal
To motivate all members to participate in a year round, self-paced physical conditioning program that emphasizes total fitness and promotes healthy lifestyles.
Club Rules
1 ) Sign up at the front desk and choose one or several physical fitness clubs.

2 ) Track your miles/hours and record data on your personal activity card, kept at the fitness center.

3 ) When you reach a milestone, let us know! We will present awards for each program milestone. Please note that awards are subject to change.

What We Offer

Cycling Club

Cycling is the perfect aerobic choice for everyone because it can be done indoors or outdoors and at any fitness level.

Cycling is a low impact exercise that allows the rider to exercise at their own pace. It builds muscular strength while also increasing aerobic capacity, making it a well-rounded workout. Make cycling your mode of transportation and get your workout in to and from work or join a class. Both indoor & outdoor cycling miles go towards prizes!

Running Club

Running is a workout that you can do just about anywhere, all you need is a good pair of shoes.

Log your miles while training for your PT test, 5K run, or even marathon! Running will improve your stability and coordination by forcing your body to work together. Other health benefits of running include increasing your cardiovascular and bone health, strengthening your posture, and increasing your aerobic capacity.

Stepping Club

Whether on the elliptical trainer, stair stepper, or stair mill you are improving muscle tone.

All 3 machines offer a low impact but challenging exercise. You can incorporate multiple muscle groups, especially the elliptical, with its forward and reverse capabilities along with the arms and legs being tasked. The stair stepper, stair mill, and elliptical will all improve aerobic capacity, balance and stability while giving your joints a break.

Power Walking Club

Can you really get fit by walking? Absolutely! Like any exercise, as long as you walk long enough, fast enough and often enough walking can be a great cardio choice.

Power walking consists of pronounced arm movements and brisk, wide footsteps. It’s a great way to maintain your weight, lower blood pressure, and raise good cholesterol levels. Power walking will improve your performance in daily tasks, help build stronger muscles and bones, and improve cardiovascular health.

Strength Training Club

Strength training or resistance training is an important addition to your cardio routine!

Aerobic exercise will burn calories while you’re training but strength training will add muscle mass which keeps your metabolism burning long after your workout is over. Adding a strength training program will decrease your risk of injury by protecting your body. Muscle endurance will provide longer sustained strength to get you through exercises by decreasing muscle fatigue time and toxin build up.

Racquetball Club

In addition to being fun and easy to learn, racquetball has many health benefits such as strength, coordination, flexibility, and aerobic improvements.

Racquetball involves both aerobic and anaerobic exercise with its quick bursts of energy paired with sustained high heart rates of 75-85% of your max heart rate. In one hour of play a typical player runs more than 2 miles and burns 600-800 calories! So find a racquetball partner and reserve your court!
